sisterhood.

Let me introduce you to Jenna...
as you can see, I love her very much. So much so, that I kissed her on the cheek for all the cyber world to see.
Ahh do you ever spend time with an old friend and then think to yourself...why have I not done this more often over the years?! Thats how I felt after spending yesterday and today with this beautiful lady. We met in 2003 when we did our DTS together in Los Angeles. We have actually been living only 45 minutes away from each other for the past 3 years, but my YWAM life and her being a student at Trinity has kept us busy.
Last night, we ate great food, and talked. Talked as only sisters could talk. I went to bed with a smile from ear to ear on my face. She is sooo good at pushing people towards God. She gets so excited hearing about how you are, and encouraging the giftings within you. This semester she finishes up her nursing degree then heads overseas to be a full time missionary in Asia. I am so proud of her, so happy to know her, so blessed to be her friend, so excited to hear her stories, and so glad that we FINALLY met up and got to spend wonderful hours together laughing and sharing. I think that is what heaven will really be like.
I can't wait to talk to Peter, Hezekiah and Esther. It will be sooo fun. Yay! I just feel so happy today!

I even had a great day at church! weird! I visited North Langley Vineyard...and I really got a lot out of it. We did a "spiritual inventory" and it was a great way to reflect on how you think you are doing and listening to the things that you could practically work on. A good way to start off the year. I really have a huge expectancy and hope for this year, something I don't remember feeling at the beginning of a year in a long time. I wonder what will happen. I am just so excited to find out...
